The crash can be reproduced every time.

we don't see where in KWin it crashed due to missing debug symbols. My fair guess is that the crash has been triggered by the running update.

In case you are able to reproduce the crash please install the debug symbols and attach a new backtrace.

(updating the system should not affect -but oc. for shared memory incompatibility- the running system)

Somewhere in the tabbox, i assume (i don't think we've other itemviews in kwin, do we?)

That should be Q_D(const QWidget); so i *fear* (we know nothing w/o a proper backtrace) this is an event delivered to a dying widget.

-> Tabbox means plasma, plasma means qgraphicsscene, qgraphicsscene *possibly* means related to the random weird crashes in aurorae ... :-\

It also means that this trouble is hopefully done with QML
