I couldn't reproduce the bug or find any duplicates. It looks like a #279026 duplicate. 1. Crash in the code which converts QSring to int 2. "before changing desing i installed the xtra datas for kstar" If removal of asteroids.dat and comets.dat fixes problem it is it. after deinstallation and new installation of kstars without the asteroids.dat it doesn´t work again... can´t start first time Please try erasing the configuration file: $HOME/.kde4/share/config/kstarsrc Dear Bug Submitter, This bug has been in NEEDSINFO status with no change for at least 15 days.
