- What I was doing when the application crashed:
I'd been installing a series of packages from our general pool, when the apper GUI vanished, and I was presented with the kcrash Crash reporting assistant.  I've attempted installs 4 times today using apper, and all have crashed in a similar manner - 3 prior to a reboot, and the attached backtrace was generated after I'd rebooted.  Note, this is the first time apper has actually failed in this manner, and my last update to the system was 48 hours ago, and it wasn't to anything KDE related (it was to Thunderbird, taking it to 8.0)
