I used the workaround in https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=249180#c12 First I lowered the volume, restarted kmix and ran 'kmixctrl -r'. The volume restored to 100. Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.7.3) OS: Linux I usually have my master channel at 50-60. Whenever I log in it is back to 100 again. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Set the volume below 100, log out and in again. Actual Results: The volume is set to 100. Expected Results: The volume should be set to what it was before log out. OS: Linux (x86_64) release 3.0.0-14-generic Compiler: gcc Master channel is set to "Internal Audio Analog Stereo". Backend is Phonon GStreamer 4.5.1.
