I had the identical problem in openSUSE 12.1. I've switched to 11.4 and updated KDE to 4.7.3 and got exactly the same result. Also the migrator doesn't have a clue what state it's in. After a cancelled migrate from the dialogue window, I tried ‘kmail-migrator --interactive’ and got told "I've already done this, I'm not doing it again" - or words to that effect. Later, after what purported to be a successful migrate (but with only empty folders) a restart of kmail2 brought up the dialogue window again to ask if I wanted to migrate! This bug has only been reported for versions older than KDEPIM 4.14 (at most akonadi-1.3). Can anyone tell if this bug still present? If noone confirms this bug for a recent version of akonadi (part of KDE Applications 15.08 or later), it gets closed in about three months. Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input. |
