I almost forgot to tell I've already tried creating a new user to test a clean configuration. That did not solve any of the applications' crashes. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 286388 *** |
Created attachment 65644 [details] Systemsettings' stack trace Version: 4.7 (using KDE 4.7.3) OS: Linux It is happening after an upgrade from F15 to F16, but only after half a day from the upgrade. Every time I start Akregator, Ktorrent, or some systemsettings modules (Multimedia, Screensaver, kdm manager, time and date, power manager). Power management configuration module never gets loaded. It is probably crashing at startup as is happening to KCMInit and Knotify. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: My system is up to date with stable repositories for Fedora 16. Actual Results: The applications listed and some others fail to start every time. Strangely it is not happening with Kmail or Amarok. Expected Results: They should start up normally.
