starting kdiff3 (Alt + F2) or eclipse from konsole:

Application 'plasma-desktop' crashing... (.xsession-errors)
Dark screen -> plasma restart

KDE 4.7.2 was very stable, plasma crashing... never happened !

Expected Results:
