Version: 1.99.0 (using KDE 4.7.2)

Well that's it. When hovering over an email, the preview popup (if that's the right name) does not show German special characters. Instead, question marks are shown. They are displayed correctly in the preview pane and when opening the email, though.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Start kmail or kontact
hover over an email with German special characters in it.

Actual Results:
Special Characters are not shown, but inversted question marks instead

Expected Results:
Special Characters should show up.

OS: Linux (i686) release 3.0.0-13-generic
Compiler: gcc

It's a bug in nepomuk/virtuoso.
Comment 2 Christophe Marin 2011-11-03 13:00:21 UTC
Fixed in virtuoso 6.1.4 btw (released a few days ago)
Comment 3 Martin Tlustos 2011-11-04 07:20:57 UTC
Well, I found a workaround: if you activate "keep encoding in replies/forwards" in the options, it works.
