ERRATA CORRIGE: On a fresh installation of Kubuntu Oneiric 11.10 I get *blank* spaces in the taskbar. Sorry, I mistyped black instead of blank as in "empty". Well, it is the same bug, just multiple ways to reproduce it. I doubt it makes sense to have two entries open for the taskmanager issue, as it only causes confusion to those that wish to follow it. If there is any specific reason you believe this is a different bug, please add a comment. I agree with you, there's no need to have a new bug report, if it is in fact the same bug. I just asked because unsure, and followed the suggestion. If you believe it is indeed the same bug, please mark it as duplicate. Perhaps you could change the title of the other bug, in order to be representative of both issues, please? Maybe something like: "Taskbar displays empty spaces thus forcing valid entries to arrange themselves in multiple rows" just to put emphasis on the empty spaces (foregrounded) rather than the "two rows" (backgrounded). This way, it could be descriptive also for those users who experience this same issue, but trigger it differently. Many thanks. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 277010 *** Thank you for changing the title of the other bug. I'll mark this one as a duplicate myself. |
