Version:           2.4.3 (using KDE 4.7.1) 
OS:                Linux

I've set up sort order in "Sort Options"-menu of Collection View to "Artist/Album". But every time after restarting I'm seeing this picture:

To swith back to "Artist/Album" I have to type some chars in filter field or switch to "Merged View" and back, or choose another sort order and then again  "Artist/Album"


Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Choose Sort Order to "Artist/Album"
2. Restart Amarok

Could you please set both pictures to the same level? The "Actual Results picture shows tracks while the "Expected Results" has all levels collapsed.

FWIW, I can't see any difference here in current git.

Well, this is the core of problem. 

Every time after restart I have to do some manipulations to collapse tracks.

Ah, so it is not the sort order, but the fact that it is not collapsed you mean?

I've just checked situation with Collection View again. 
Actually, after restart it looks like this:

View is collapsed but instead of "Artist Name" it shows "Track Name".

I have never seen something like that before, are you sure your tracks are tagged correctly?

Oops, now I get it, this is happening only with the Merged View
