This is probably fixed in KDE 4.7.1, could you check? Christoph, Thanks for your response and info. I would love to check this! How can I do it? Regards, George... Let's ask kwin maintainers which version fixes it (works here in master). fixed about half a year ago for 4.7 as a temp. workaround you can setup a window rule for xterm to ignore the geometry hints (this will allow full maximization) - other than this, just upgrade KDE (how to do this deps. on your distribution) Thomas, Thank you for your response. My distribution is Fedora Core 14 currently. Regards, George... I meant: "you'll have to ask there" - or find a fedora fellow who can tell you ;-) But i think they use a rolling release model, so there should be no problem in upgrading KDE at all. |
