Platform: Mageia RPMs
OS: Linux
Latest Commit: Version Fixed In: 5.7.0

Description Dimitrios Glentadakis 2011-09-03 13:55:08 UTC
Version: 1.9.0 (using KDE 4.6.5)
OS: Linux

Right now, when we have a remote mage in gwenview, the option to send the image by email is inactive (gray). When the image is stored localy it is active and we can share it by email.

It seems similar with the case of ksnapshot and actions in cached images:
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=280863

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
open a remote image in the internet with gwenview
Plugins → Images → Send images with email is inactive

Actual Results:
The menu is inactive

Expected Results:
Be able to share the remote image by email

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.38.8-desktop-4.mga
Compiler: gcc

The remote url was removed from digiKam, since KIO is a heel to support outside Linux. The new Send by Mail tool from digiKam core will never support this feature.

Closed as WONTFIX.
