Gilles Caulier This file still valid using last stable 5.0.0 release ? Gilles Caulier We need feedback with last digiKam AppImage Linux Bundle: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0BzeiVr-byqt5Y0tIRWVWelRJenM Gilles Caulier This problem still reproducible using digiKam AppImage bundle 5.4.0 pre release ? Thanks in advance Gilles Caulier Please update this entry from bugzilla with current 5.8.0 pre-release bundle to see if problem remain. https://files.kde.org/digikam/ Thanks in advance Gilles Caulier kunirraj, Any feedback please ? Thanks in advance Gilles Caulier (In reply to caulier.gilles from comment #12) > kunirraj, > > Any feedback please ? > > Thanks in advance > > Gilles Caulier Hello Gilles, This is still valid for Build date: Apr 14 2019 (target: RelWithDebInfo) Rev.: 33917d60ecad37ad46ef9cea83db28c2f058cc13 I noticed couple of differences in behaviour: a) It is not possible to drop thumbnail on to a people tag, under people tab, which is unselected. If, for example, "People" tag is selected, and a face thumbnail is dropped onto it, it would assign standard tag People to image, just as before. b) A single face thumbnail can no longer be grabbed for drag-and-drop, one has to select at least two thumbnails. Regards -Kunir Hmm, the people tab is a filter, so I can not actually assign a different name to Drag&Drop this then assign the images. To the right side bar it works. However, the whole thing makes no sense, if multiple facial regions exist on the image, digiKam can not know which face to the tag should be assigned. To b) I can not reproduce here, it can also be grabbed only one image by Drag&Drop. IIRC this relates to "face thumbnail" not image thumbnail. Face thumbnails displayed by clicking 'Unknown' tag needs to be selected and dropped onto a tag other than 'Unknown'. -Kunir 7.0.0-beta1 is out with new Face Recognition algorithm based on Deep Learning/Neural Network API from OpenCV https://download.kde.org/unstable/digikam/ Please test and give us a feedback Thanks in advance Gilles Caulier Maik, This is realistic to implement D&D with face thumbnails view ? Gilles No, it's not realistic to implement D&D from the people sidebar. I close the bug. Maik |
