I would expect the laptop to suspend whenever the lid is closed, however if left at the KDM login screen nothing happens. Both GDM and lightdm suspend when the lid is closed. This is of course a wish list item as it is a rare occurrence.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
While sitting at the kdm login screen, close the lid of the laptop.

Actual Results:  
Nothing happens.

Expected Results:  
Laptop suspends.
