Gwenview seems not to know the directory the SVG file is in. When you open an SVG in gwenview, then press ESC to view the directory, nothing is shown and the location bar is empty. Also, when opening a directory containing an SVG, gwenview fails to display a thumbnail of it. Then, clicking the icon to view the SVG, it displays it as expected (back/forward buttons work and pressing ESC returns to directory view). There is also no preview in the preview tab of the properties dialogue in gwenview (but there is a preview if the properties dialogue is opened from Dolphin). Gwenview 2.7, KDE 4.7, Arch Linux. as a workaround one can reload the svg image in gwenview (e.g. by the key F5) as this surprisingly makes gwenview recognize the image's folder This now works for me, in Gwenview 2.7.2 / KDE 4.7.3. Works for me when using KDE SC 4.8 beta2. Feel free to reopen if it still happens in recent version . I noticed today that this bug is back in gwenview 2.8.1 / KDE 4.8.1. Confirmed on two different computers, both running Arch Linux. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 207115 *** |
