Thanks for reporting this bug. Please open a bug upstream at http://red.libssh.org/ and request async write support for sftp. Thanks! Previous kde releases (4.6.3) uploaded the same file at about 30MBps. Do you still think that the issue is entirely with libssh or maybe something else changed and make the thing even worse? Just made another try... Download speed has dropped to ridicolous speed too 1.7MBps. I forgot to say, 4.6.5 release The code uploading and downloading a file in KDE 4.6 hasn't changed since more than a year. I checked the last upgrade of libssh in my installation and downgraded it from 0.5.0 to 0.4.8 and i've the speed i had before.
