Monolithic knetworkmanager is unmaintained, which means nobody is fixing bugs in it. Please uninstall it and install the plasmoid version from here: http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-kde/2011-05/msg00035.html Please do not install the NetworkManager-kde4-0.9.svn1192577-7.2 package version from OpenSuse repositories because it is very outdated (more than six months old) and full of bugs that have already been fixed.
