Description Dimitar Dobrev 2011-06-14 09:50:00 UTC
Version:           2.6.4 (using KDE 4.6.4)
OS:                Linux

Resizing Konsole while compiling with "make" freezes Ubuntu 11.04 - a hard-reset is required. The steps describe the actual compilation I make but I have no reason to assume it happens only with it.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install Mono 2.10.1;
2. Download http://monodevelop.com/files/Linux/tarballs/monodevelop-2.5.92.tar.bz2 and extract;
3. Enter the extracted directory and ./configure;
4. Run "make";
5. While still "making", resize the main window of Konsole.

Actual Results:
The whole OS freezes so that it needs a hard(ware) reset.

Expected Results:
The main window of Konsole changes its size and continues compiling.

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.38-10-generic
Compiler: cc

Actually the OS freezes even without compiling anything, just resizing the window.

By the way, I wanted to correct the title but couldn't because I got a timeout from MySQL. Just as well, there is absolutely no link or anything to edit the steps to reproduce. It was remarkable user experience.
