What happened: jobs started and a file with the correct name was created in the "/home/downloads" folder. Jobs were shown but didn't advance. They just hung there. failure: two gtalk accounts different computers both using kde-telepathy... the filename is created onthe remote computer but no data is transferred... notification area keeps rotating and theprogress bar 0% success: two gtalk on the same computer both onlinefromthe kde-telepathy... file successfully transferred... however the notification message was empty... I could receive but I could not send files... that makes me think that the error for gtalk is upstream with gabble or/and google... danielle suggested a test with empathy and probably report the bug with gabble if it is the case. using non-gtalk accounts (kdetalk.net) ft went ahead as expected. Removed from blocking the preview release - it's not like file transfer worked 100% in Kopete anyway... More data (from more users) may help fix this too. We might have fixed this, see http://quickgit.kde.org/?p=telepathy-filetransfer-handler.git&a=commit&h=27becf7c2036caad9cfbc63269391b33f9e4e6f7 I'm closing this for the moment, if failures are still reported I will reopen it |
