*** Bug 236808 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** I would also like to see this feature implemented, very useful at times. Has this wish been abandoned? I would be very handy to attach an image or file to a transaction. Even a link would be good If it were abandoned, it would be closed. I think it does have good support. It's just not a high priority. Current developer time is all going to complete the porting to Frameworks. Ok Thank you Jack. I just assumed it had been forgotten about as it was raised over 5 years ago. Even a clickable link would be good - at the moment you cant even select text in a transaction unless your editing it. *** Bug 378937 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 378937 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 441128 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 448030 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 448458 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 453144 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** The GNOME program Denaro (previously Money) has a similar feature where you can attach a file to a transaction - maybe the developers can take some inspiration from this? I think the main problem here is not ideas on how to implement it, but lack of available developer time. This is basically a "nice to have" as desirable as it is for some users. The change of importance to HI was done by the bug janitor - probably as a result of additional votes. Unfortunately, I don't think the actual priority is any higher. As is often said, patches gratefully accepted. |
