The problem was somehow caused by KDE4.6 (4.5?) which required a small patch in the KDiff3-docs to build. The opensuse KDiff3-packages are incomplete because of this. I'll provide a updated version soon, so you will be able to fix this by rebuilding yourself. Joachim (In reply to comment #0) > Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.6.2) > OS: Linux > > Looking up help by pressing F1 or go to menu Help - kdiff3 Handbook brings up > page "Documentation not Found" in KDE Help Center, containing instructions "How > to solve this issue"; > > as suggested by this page, looked for installed packages named "*kdepim*" which > resulted in kdepim4, kdepim4-runtime, kdepim4-wizards, kdepimlibs4, libkdepim4, > libkdepimlibs4 > I read on the page "Documentation not Found": <quote> Start by searching the KDE Documentation site for the requested documentation. </quote> Followed the that advice, went to docs.kde.org, entered "kdiff3" in the field labbeled Application Name at the top left, clicked the Open button and a second later "The KDiff3 Handbook" was displayed. Didn't this work for you? Next step: <quote> If you find the documentation on that site, your distribution might ship a separate package for documentation (e.g. called kdepim-doc for all applications from the kdepim module, like KMail, Kontact, etc.). </quote> This reads "e.g called kdepim-doc for ... kdepim applications" So opened (suitable for my system) packages.ubuntu.com, entered "kdiff3" into the search box and got three packages kdiff3, kdiff3-doc, kdiff3-qt. Problem solvable via updating the system via package manager of the distribution. |
