/usr/bin/akonadi_agent_launcher akonadi_maildir_resource akonadi_maildir_resource_20 process use 1.8G memory.

start kde

Actual Results:  
this process use 1.8G memory

Expected Results:  
use less memory

I've this with akonadi_mixedmaildir_resource. After I open a folder with 36000 mails the mem usage goes up to 1.2 GB (on x86_64).

This should be much better in the upcoming KDE 4.8, importing 240000 mails peaked at ~600MB. Once the import is done (in worst case after restarting the akonadi server), the memory usage is low (<60MB), even when accessing large folders.
