Description John 2011-04-04 02:47:37 UTC
Version: 4.6 (using KDE 4.6.1)
OS: Linux

Hi.
I'm running KDE4.6.1 on PCLOS.

After a reboot, the Power Management settings do not seem to work. In order to get the settings to work, I need to open the power management settings, and change "When AC Adaptor is plugged in" to anything. Then change it back to the setting I want (typically Performance). Apply, Overview (Apply again), and then it works.

Basically, I set the screen to shut off after 12 minutes. I noticed that it wasn't working when I woke up in the morning and the screen was still on. After a couple of reboots and resetting of the power mgt profile, I figured out what was going on.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Reboot. Screen stays on forever. Go into Power Management, change profile, Apply, Overview, Apply, and the screen turns off like it should.

I am running a dual head setup if it matters.

Is this still a problem on 4.9 or 4.10?

Hi. I'm on 4.9.5 right now (PCLOS) and this is is no longer a problem.

Thanks.
