- What I was doing when the application crashed:

Ark crashes on opening of a zipped xls file. At the moment, my office suite is libreoffice, which doesn't start up properly (bug #726252). The lo splash screen appears, both localc and ark crash (but only ark reports a valid crash). Moreover, the file seems to be launched via nspluginviewer, which I think is not the proper application for xls files.

The crash can be reproduced every time.
