The system was suspended and resumed.
The gsm usb modem was inserted.
I tried to connect using kde network manager.
When I clicked on the connection of the modem plasma crashed.

I read in NM mailing list that modem's driver are not prepared to suspend modem's hardware, which can lead to your problem. So it is better remove the modem before suspending. Does this problem still happen when modem is not inserted during suspend?
