I found a workaround: kill the krunner process on the host. The side effect is that it kills global shortcuts. You can start krunner again from the K menu. I don't really understand what's the issue here. This is what the screensaver does, it starts when you are not using any input device. Why should that be disabled during a vnc session? The issue is that it's supposed to start a certain time (e.g. 10 minutes) after you stop using any input device, not 0 to 1 seconds. And besides that, it would be desirable to disable the screensaver completely while a vnc connection is active, otherwise with certain animated screensavers it would eat up TONS of bandwidth for nothing. same issue with 4.8.1. Screensaver keeps appearing every second after unlocking it. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 147091 *** |
