Description Andreas Roth 2011-02-15 07:51:07 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.6.0)
OS: Linux

In the document tree view the option full path does not work after a restart of Kate.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
- Settings->Configure Kate->Application->Tree View: enable 'Show full path' option
- press ok
- tree view now shows the full path of all documents (e.g. /path/to/my/document)
- restart kate
- tree view now only show the parent directory of each document (e.g. my/document)

Actual Results:
tree view shows shorten path (e.g. my/document)

Expected Results:
tree view should show full path (e.g. /path/to/my/document)

Have you done a "save session" before closing? I tend to see that changes to the session aren't saved unless you do it explicitly.

The settings for the tree view is currently session only, I'm not sure if that should change.

I just tried to manually save the session, but this didn't help.
After the restart the check box "Show full path" is checked in the settings dialog.

All right, I'll take a look at this soon.
