Created attachment 56915 [details] Screenshot of the bug. Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.6.0) OS: Linux Actually, if I disable the setting, the background stops to be shaded. But when I restart Kate, the background is shaded and the setting is still disabled. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Enable the TreeView plugin. Disable the background shading. Restart Kate. Open several files. Actual Results: The background is shaded. Expected Results: The background shouldn't be shaded. OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.37-ARCH Compiler: gcc
