JFYI: Amarok uses Phonon, and there is no Pulseaudio backend. Could you please check in Settings -> Configure Amarok -> Playback -> Configure Phonon -> Backend tab which backend you really use? Sorry for mistake concerning sound system. The system backend is phonon gstreamer. With phonon gstreamer selected as backend, cannot use slider at all to control playback of music. Thank you for the feedback.
