I forgot say modem USB that I was trying was ZTE MF110. Provider Movistar. When I used GNOME only with installed usbmodeswich was enough for works perfect, he opened the usb-modem window manager itself. I have just commited some changes to fix this problem. Please "git pull" them and try again. *** Bug 265514 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 265097 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 268846 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** I don't understand the status of this bug. It's reported for KDE 4.5.4 in December 2010, then supposedly fixed in January 2011. Yet NM still crashes when trying to add a broadband USB modem in KDE 4.6 in March 2011 (openSUSE 11.4). What does this mean? KDE 4.6.0 does not contain the January fixes? Plasma NM does not follow KDE SC release schedule, so it does not matter if you are using KDE SC 4.5.4, 4.6.0, 4.6.1, 4.6.2, etc. Your distribution must compile a newer Plasma NM package with the fix in git://anongit.kde.org/networkmanagement. *** Bug 273191 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** |
