[Comment from a bug triager] - Which widgets do you have in your desktop ? Do you have anyone that you manually downloaded ? (or some using the GetHotNewStuff dialog ?) - When does this error start happening ? Thanks I have the Fancytasks hub installed. I believe thats the reason. Still haven't tried to un-/reinstall that. 2010/12/29 Dario Andres <andresbajotierra@gmail.com> > https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=261517 > > > Dario Andres <andresbajotierra@gmail.com> changed: > > What |Removed |Added > > ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- > CC| |andresbajotierra@gmail.com > > > > > --- Comment #1 from Dario Andres <andresbajotierra gmail com> 2010-12-29 > 13:52:03 --- > [Comment from a bug triager] > - Which widgets do you have in your desktop ? Desktop works ok. Also tried to reinstall. Install process went ok. After adding Fancytasks onto desktop and reboot, the plasma crashes again. Fancytasks is now uninstalled. However, It left another problem: HDMI doens't work -> says "out of range". D-sub works ok. Hope this helps. 2010/12/30 Jussi Suhonen <jussi.suhonen@gmail.com> > I have the Fancytasks hub installed. Also, you may need to recompile it (or request support from Ubuntu if you installed it from standard packages) Closing as UPSTREAM as it is not related to KDE code.
