I just installed a new machine with kubuntu 10.10 and KDE 4.5.4 and made sure that the docs package is instaled. This documentation is definitely not there. This bug actually belongs to khelpcenter, or maybe docs. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 273890 *** I realize bug 260763 says this is resolved but it isn't for me. When I click on Help and then "KAddressBook Handbook" from the KAddressBook window I get a message from KDE Help Centre saying the documentation is not found. However I know that kdepim-doc is installed (in fact I even tried removing it and installing it again). Yup, it is not actually fixed. The Kontact Handbook is there, but there is no KAddressBook Handbook to speak of. It is under construction AFAIK. It looks like the link in question now points to some old web based docs for 4.4. It is not the optimal solution, but it fixes this bug. |
