I compiled amarok 2.4 beta1 and tracks can not be copied to my 3g ipod touch anymore.
It is mounted & detected properly (many problems solved on amarok forum : installing the latest libimobiledevice lib & reverting libmtp)though
This used to work on my other local git backup version so I guess a regression was introduced with 2.4 beta1

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Mount your ipod touch
Transfer tracks from amarok
Nothing ever happens : new tracks will not appear on the itouch

Marking as release blocker as this is clearly a regression.

Does transferring precess go smooth? Or it doesn't even get started? Any strange behavior or messages during the transfer? Could you run amarok in debug mode ($amarok -d --nofork) and post debug log when you copying tracks to iPod? 
My iPod Shuffle works good.

It works for my (non-touch) ipod.

Some improvements...
I tried again with today's git, it does transfere music to my itouch now, but covers are missing.

Setting album covers for iPod collection is disabled, because of crashes (for a better times).
Bug closed.

Has anyone opened a bugreport on the missing album covers ?
I can't believe this is a "feature".
Most users definitely WANT their album covers in the ipod !
Removing covers for performance reason is not an option.
