Sorry, but your backtrace is not useful, as you are lacking debugging symbols. If you can reproduce this bug, please check here on how to get a valid backtrace: http://techbase.kde.org/Development/Tutorials/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports Since you are using Kubuntu, you will need amarok-dbg and phonon-dbg at least, ideally you should also have kdelibs5-dbg, libqt4-dbg and libglib2.0-0-dbg. That should cover most of the crashes. OK thank you :). I've installed the packages... I should report again soon when it crashes (I can't crash Amarok at the moment :D) 2010/11/9 Myriam Schweingruber <myriam@kde.org>: > https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=256386 > > > Myriam Schweingruber <myriam@kde.org> changed: > > What |Removed |Added > ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Status|UNCONFIRMED |NEEDSINFO > Resolution| |BACKTRACE > > > > > --- Comment #1 from Myriam Schweingruber <myriam kde org> 2010-11-09 11:13:34 --- > Sorry, but your backtrace is not useful, as you are lacking debugging symbols. > If you can reproduce this bug, please check here on how to get a valid > backtrace: > > http://techbase.kde.org/Development/Tutorials/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports > > Since you are using Kubuntu, you will need amarok-dbg and phonon-dbg at least, > ideally you should also have kdelibs5-dbg, libqt4-dbg and libglib2.0-0-dbg. > That should cover most of the crashes. > > -- > Configure bugmail: https://bugs.kde.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email > ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- > You reported the bug. > Created attachment 53333 [details]

@Sven and Sajith: both your backtraces lack debugging symbols for Amarok, as you can see from these lines: #39 0x00a8eb54 in ?? () from /usr/lib/libamaroklib.so.1 #40 0x00a8ef23 in ??
