I can confirm this bug. I have the same kernel and KDE versions, Fedora 14.
Here is output from console:

Splash screen get through load plugins and then crash.

Hallo,
after few weeks of waiting for ready to use rpm from Fedora I finally desided to compile kipi-plugins by myself. Luckily i needed just one extra devel package to install. It took more than one hour to compile since my computer is quite obsolete, but I can say now that both digikam and gwenview work.

Unfortunately this bug still exists. I've installed digikam and kipi-plugins 1.6.0 from testing repository. Now digikam won't start and gwenview crashes on opening plugins again. But removing kipiplugin_removeredeyes.so like in bug 243186 helps.
