Version:           0.9.3-beta2 (using KDE KDE 3.5.7)
Installed from:    SuSE RPMs
OS:                Linux

Application is unable to start, the splashscreen is shown, but main windows abends just after first try to show first photo.

Wich Exiv2 release you use ?

in distribution is libexiv2-0.15-8.

I have also fixed the problem by upgrading libkexiv2 to 0.1.6 version according to  #144574, so the report is duplicate. Sorry about it, I didn't seen it first time.

Not reproducible with digiKam 7.3.0 and Exiv2 0.27.4
