Description Andrew H. 2010-11-03 10:00:25 UTC
Version: 1.0 (using KDE 4.5.1)
OS: Linux

When installing any new login screen theme from the "Get New Themes" section, you can "install" them. But using the simple "One button install" button doesn't allow you to see it in the choices for your supposedly just installed theme. Was told there was a work around, but not sure if it works yet.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Open up the System Settings window and click on the Login Screen settings icon. then click on the Themes tab, and click "Get New Themes" select a theme from the menu, then click the button next to it labeled Install with the little green checkmark next to it. You will notice that if you now close the listings of choices of themes, tthat your downloaded choice will not be available to choose from.

Actual Results:
Wasn't able to activate the new theme

Expected Results:
I would hope that after downloading a theme that one would be able to install and use that theme.

OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.35-22-generic
Compiler: cc
