Some more clarification. Window previews are always gray, the noise is that appears only in the case of random windows. This far I think I'm alone with this problem, since I saw this working correctly with others. Same problem. I have an HP Pavilion dv6920 and I have recently installed Kubuntu 10.10. After getting the latest updates I can no longer see the thumbnails. I just see a gray box. [Comment from a bug triager] CCing KWin developers This is a driver bug. In the duplicate report there are ways described to circumvent the problem. Starting from 4.6.0 there is a GUI option to disable the feature triggering the driver bug. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 243181 *** |

I'm not sure whether it's a KDE-related bug, maybe my video card driver is broken? Please let me know what you think. See the attached screenshot of the problem. Reproducible: Always
