[Comment from a bug triager] You were close... It is, in fact, in two places: * the systemsettings, in the file associations. You need to remember the file extension or the mime-type, search for it, and, remove the extension and/or kwrite from the programs that handle that mime-type. (or lower its priority) * The do not ask again .... Is in the file kmailrc[2] In the section [Notification Messages] askSave_image/jpeg=2 (where jpeg is the mime type of the attached file) (remove that line, and probably restart kmail) Please, close this bug if this solved your problem. related to bug 190238 Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report. KMail2 was released in 2011, and the entire code base went through significant changes. We are currently in the process of porting to Qt5 and KF5. It is unlikely that these bugs are still valid in KMail2. We welcome you to try out KMail 2 with the KDE 4.14 release and give your feedback. |
