I recently found another way to force this bug. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Unlock the default bar 2. Click More Settings 3. Click Auto Hide. Also I'm not sure if this happens with all themes, as I'm using Glassified at the moment and I cannot reproduce. I think you need to be using Air. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 251537 *** |
Created attachment 52593 [details] Square Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.5.1) OS: Linux When logging in sometimes I notice a strange rectangular square appears on the desktop sometimes. I'm using Kubuntu 10.10. I talked to Sho_ in IRC and he confirmed it also happens with KDE 4.5.X on Fedora. He was also using the proprietary NVIDIA drivers like me. It apparently occurs even with compositing disabled, I find the only way to remove this strange square is to log out and log back in again, or to disable compositing and re-enable it. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. Login Expected Results: 1. No strange square
