this problem occurs always but not on all systems, on my pc it is starting normally at the pc from my friend it always chrashes same system same libs

The crash can be reproduced every time.

Can you please try to reproduce it with newer DigiKam 1.4.0? It may have been fixed already.

There is an exception thrown in the event loop and the rethrown, so we do not get to see the real problem.

Please run digikam under gdb, catching exceptions:
gdb digikam
catch throw
run

provoke the crash, then type
bt
and post the backtrace here. (preferably with a recent version, >= 1.7)
