I miss-wrote - ssh does show host name - it is just that there is better information than showing bash - like a command name or if idle... After more time - it supplies inconsistent information before the colon. user: hostname: (I think this is a bug - it is too obvious that user@host is more valuable) Another effect of the bug: If you su to another user the username is not updated. The old functionality was usr@host-program which is superior IMO. I suggest that the string should be "usr@host:program" The most important information of a shell would be the host and user. The task manager displays the window title, which currently in konsole is the same as tab title. So just open the edit profile dialog, and choose/define your preferred title formats for local/remote tab . |
