Description Oleg Atamanenko 2010-10-06 09:17:01 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.5.1)
OS: Linux

After hiding icons in system tray, they became less usable:

1. To restore application I have to click on the icon in the dropdown menu. Please, allow to click on the name of the application to restore it, because it is much more usable. Now user can click only on the icon.

2. When I close application empty space remaining. See attached screenshot.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Hide icons in the system tray.
2. Close one application.

Actual Results:
3. Empty space remaining

Expected Results:
4. No empty space between icons.

On KDE 4.5.2 the result is the same.

[Comment from a bug triager]
Thanks for the reports. For your future reports, try to post every bug on a different report so they are easier to triage.
- The bug about the empty space when closing an icon is reported at bug 246874
- The bug about the applications not being activated when the label is clicked is likely to be the reported on bug 251851. (needs confirmation)
