Clock in vertical panel is cutted
Same here but I get this with 4.6 branche. I didn't noticed this in 4.5 or in earlier days of the 4.6 branche (beta, rc phase)
*** Bug 270657 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** In 4.7 this behavior only triggered when selecting long format for date. But with date set to short or iso the date doesn't fit the width and is therefore cut. I was not able to reproduce the bug (using KDE 4.7.3) Closing based on comment #4 Created attachment 71182 [details]
Digital clock in 4.8.3
In plasma 4.8.3 I still see the bug.
Reopening based on comment #6. Thank you for the fast feedback. Created attachment 82081 [details]
Upper part of digital clock is cut down.
This bug still exists in 4.11. Note that it can be reproduced only on vertical taskbar and when the dateformat is long enough (you can set custom format in case of short dateformat and long dateformat).
Hello! This bug report was filed for KDE Plasma 4, which reached end-of-support status in August 2015. KDE Plasma 5's desktop shell has been almost completely rewritten for better performance and usability, so it is likely that this bug is already resolved in Plasma 5. Accordingly, we hope you understand why we must close this bug report. If the issue described here is still present in KDE Plasma 5.12 or later, please feel free to open a new ticket in the "plasmashell" product after reading https://community.kde.org/Get_Involved/Bug_Reporting If you would like to get involved in KDE's bug triaging effort so that future mass bug closes like this are less likely, please read https://community.kde.org/Get_Involved#Bug_Triaging Thanks for your understanding! Created attachment 51966 [details] on the left-hand side: kde 4.4.4; on the right-hand side: kde 4.5.1 Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.5.1) OS: Linux I have just updated from Kde 4.4.4 to Kde 4.5.1 using openSUSE rpms. Using kde 4.4.4, the digital clock shows perfectly time and date, using two rows, when put in a vertical panel which width is 45 pixel. Now, using kde 4.5.1 and the same configuration, the digital clock uses three rows (two for the date, one for the time). The resulting effect is that only the lower half of the time is shown, making it unreadable. I will attach an image with the behaviour of the clock in kde 4.4.4 (lhs) and 4.5.1 (rhs). Reproducible: Didn't try
