After upgrading KDE packages to trunk version (Mandriva cooker recently switched from 4.5 stable to trunk) contents of "Additional Information" and "Panes" menus disappeared, so I can't show any additional information and restore closed panels. Clearing of dolphin settings doesn't help.

Thanks for the report. This issue (which I can't reproduce) has been reported already. According to the other report, removing the file 

.kde/share/apps/dolphin/dolphinui.rc

 solves the issue.

Well, in my case that doesn't help.
