Should be much faster with the recent introduction of mass-modify jobs. Previously it was marking every mail as read individually, now it's just a single command. I retested this today Now once the user clicks on Mark All Mails as Read from the 'Actions' tab the tab closes and nothing happens for about a minute and then all of a sudden all the emails are marked as read all at once. This is confusing for the user who wonders why it does not work immediately. N900, 4:4.6~20101117.1198109-1maemo1.1198084 Needs to be checked for CE. A general process indicator on mass operations would be nice (I do not remember if we already had an issue for it or not.) I retested this bug today and I can still reproduce it. The result is exactly the same as in comment #2: 'once the user clicks on Mark All Mails as Read from the 'Actions' tab the tab closes and nothing happens for about a minute and then all of a sudden all the emails are marked as read all at once.' So I agree with Bernhard that a process indicator would be nice. N900, 4:4.6~.20110118.1600.git254268b-1maemo1.121498 |
