Version:           3.5 (using KDE 1.2) 
OS:                Linux

Sir,

I am using kmessenegr 3.5.10 in my Kubuntu 8.04 and recently a contact has changed
their contact address but unable to change from the  action tab as only can add new contact, of which I insert the new email address, but comes back saying invalid? please
advise me how to updates contact addreses?

Could you check what the correct name of that messaging program is? Possible names are "Kopete", "KMess", or "Pidgin".

KMess is not part of the KDE Software Compilation. To get support for this program, ask on the KMess forum via http://kmess.org/

If you are sure there is a KMess bug, you can report it at their bug tracker at http://trac.kmess.org/
