I can confirm this too. It happens on my laptop, whenever i use Kmail on it, it deletes ALL emails received after 3.11.2010 from ALL 3 of my IMAP accounts. Unluckily only gmail has the all emails folder that saves them. From my 2 other accounts mails are lost forever. My desktop is running KDE 4.4.5 and kmail 1.13.5 on x86_64 gentoo and it doesn't show this behavior. Go figure. Emerge info: emerge --info kmail | tail -n3 kde-base/kmail-4.4.7 was built with the following: USE="debug handbook kontact (multilib) (-aqua) (-kdeenablefinal) (-kdeprefix)" My laptop is running KDE 4.4.5 and kmail 1.13.5 on x86 gentoo. Emerge info: emerge --info kmail | tail -n3 kde-base/kmail-4.4.7 was built with the following: USE="handbook kontact (-aqua) -debug (-kdeenablefinal) (-kdeprefix)" I can post complete emerge --info's later when i am at my laptop if needed. Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report. KMail2 was released in 2011, and the entire code base went through significant changes. We are currently in the process of porting to Qt5 and KF5. It is unlikely that these bugs are still valid in KMail2. We welcome you to try out KMail 2 with the KDE 4.14 release and give your feedback. |
