tried while using kscreensaver and xscreensaver

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
set notifications for the above events

Actual Results:  
when the screen is unlocked nothing happens.

Expected Results:  
the notification should be heard.

OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.33.8-149.fc13.i686.PAE
Compiler: gcc
