Sentry Crash Report:

Description Daniel Buus 2010-08-19 08:33:01 UTC
Version: 1.13.5 (using KDE 4.4.5)
OS: Linux

When composing a message and wanting to select a recipient from the (only) address book, clicking Select next to the To: input will open a Select Recipient dialog which only lists previously harvested email addresses that were entered manually into to To: input.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Click New Message
Click "Select..." next to the To: input fields

Actual Results:
The dialog that opens shows only harvested mails and names, no matter what selection you chose in the selection dropdown.

Expected Results:
The dialog would list contacts from my address book in either the "All" or "Default Address Book" selections in the dropdown.

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.34-zen1-daniel
Compiler: cc

After upgrading from Ubuntu 8.04 to Ubuntu 10.04 (KDE 3.5 -> KDE 4.4.2), I seem to have the same *catastrophic* problem. I can add new contacts, but they do not show up when I type them into any of the Email To, CC, ... fields. In other words the new contacts and new email addresses I add to existing contacts show up in the contacts list, but are not found by the automatic typing search engine. This is a BIG problem for me.
